Privacy Policy

What we collect
Your name, email address and a hashed password; the IP address you signed up from (to stop free-credit abuse); how you first found us (see Cookies and advertising below); the ideas, messages and apps you create; your credit and payment history; and basic server logs.
Payments
Whop processes payments. We never see your card details; Whop tells us which plan or top-up you bought and whether the payment succeeded, failed or was refunded.
Services we use
Anthropic's AI writes and reviews your apps from what you type, so your prompts and app code are sent to Anthropic for that purpose. Resend sends our emails, such as password resets. Whop handles payments and runs our ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through Whop Ads.
Cookies and advertising
We use these cookies and similar technologies:
- Sign-in cookie. Keeps you logged in.
- Ad attribution cookie (first-party). On your first visit we store a cookie on tappio.dev that remembers how you arrived: the ad campaign and ad tags in the link you clicked (UTM parameters), Meta's click ID (fbclid) if you came from a Facebook or Instagram ad, the page you landed on and the site that sent you. If you create an account, we save this with it. We use it only to measure which ads bring sign-ups and purchases. It lasts 90 days.
- Advertising pixel. We advertise through Whop Ads, which uses the Whop pixel to measure ad performance. When you check out on Whop's checkout pages, the pixel records your visit and purchase and shares those events with Meta so our ads can be measured and improved. Whop's privacy policy covers how Whop and its pixel handle your data.
- Published apps set their own cookies to remember visitors and signed-in app users.
How to opt out.
We also skip the attribution cookie when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. To limit ads based on your activity, use Meta's ad preferences (see how Meta ads work), the industry opt-out pages at aboutads.info (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU), or your browser's settings to block or clear cookies.
Data inside your apps
When people use an app you built, the data they enter is stored for your app. You decide what your app collects and are responsible for telling your users about it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and apps while your account is open. Email hello@tappio.dev to delete your account; we then delete your apps and personal data, except records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@tappio.dev.
