Who we are
Tappio (tappio.dev) is an AI app builder run by Pivot Media LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Tappio you agree to these terms. If you use Tappio for a business, you agree on its behalf.
Your account
Keep your password safe and your email address current; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. One free account per person.
Credits
Building and changing apps costs credits at the fixed prices shown on the pricing page before you start. If a build or change fails, its credits are returned. Plan credits come with each billing month and are used first; top-up credits last 12 months. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Plans and payments
Payments are processed by Whop. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. When you switch plans, your new plan starts right away and the old one is cancelled so you are not billed for both.
Refunds
If you were charged by mistake or something went wrong, email hello@tappio.dev and we will look at it. When a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits it bought are removed, and a refunded plan ends.
Your apps and content
You own the ideas, text and data you put into Tappio and the apps you build with it. You give us permission to store, run and display them so the service works (for example, hosting your live app and showing it to the people you share it with). You are responsible for your apps and for the data your app collects from its users.
What you may not build
No apps that break the law or others' rights, collect passwords or payment details under false pretences, impersonate a real person or company, spread malware or spam, harass people, or contain sexual content involving minors. We may remove an app or close an account that breaks these rules.
AI-built software
Apps are written by AI and checked automatically, but they can still contain mistakes. Check that an app does what you need before you rely on it. Tappio is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. Continuing to use Tappio after that means you accept the new terms.
